Calorie Counter

I'm not totally in favour of calorie-counting. I believe that if you eat a healthy diet, the number of calories you consume is not as important as where those calories come from.

Also, there is some research to suggest that you can eat thousands of calories a day and still maintain/lose weight - IF they come from the right foods.

So, my general advice is not to get sucked in too far with calorie-counting, but concentrate on only eating foods as close to nature as you can ie. not processed food. If you wouldn't put it on your skin, don't eat it, if you see what I mean!

That said, there are times when you really need to check just how much you are eating in an average meal or day. Sometimes, portion-size is the issue. In this case, use this nifty calorie counter to track your own food consumption...

Clinic hours are Mon, Tues and Weds 10am-8pm. Please note: I am not currently taking on new patients, sorry.
